Our puppies are raised in our home. They are constantly exposed to new people (children) and new situations. Before they leave us, they are well socialized, crate trained, leash trained, exposed to birds and well loved. Puppies will be familiar with a grooming table and will have had several car rides to many places. All puppies receive the same love, care and training whether they are a future show champion, future field champion or future champion of the couch. All owners are given a lifetime of “technical” support and become a member of the Hotwired family.
Puppies are sold only to suitable homes and on strict contracts with co ownership terms. We don’t place puppies based on when we receive your deposit, but on which puppy is right for you. We try to get to know each potential owner so we can match personalities. At 8 weeks, all puppies are evaluated for comformation. At that time we decide who is "pick". This is a long process! One person stacks the puppies on a grooming table and pictures are taken of heads, fronts, rears, show side, non show side... Then it is a group effort to evaluate
